About the artwork
In the Zodiac Relief Series, biomorphic shapes and volumes all fuse into emerging micro worlds. The head is a recurring feature, placed at different angles; its horn-like motif inspired by Michelangelo's Moses, points to the nature of “human knowing” in percept and concept. The reliefs are a visual narrative of creation, a personal search for the story that is hidden in nature itself. The wall-mounted sculptures are an echo of the interrelation of living forms and the unseen intelligence moving through them.
Commission this work
The commissions are carried out using the latest 3D technology in collaboration with the best bronze and stone studios in Italy and the USA. Collectors can choose from a variety of bronze patinas and types of stone. Sizes range between 60cm / 24" and 335cm / 132". For commission inquiries, email flavius.pisapia@gmail.com
