About the artwork
The Life Stages sculpture series follows the journey of the human lifecycle by combining attitudes imagined for each stage with abstract human forms. The maturing self in relation to the parents, teachers, work community, friends, and the family constellation is embodied through the expressive postures. The circle encompasses the infant being received by the parents and the mature individual looking back on life in celebration.
